We went to the swimming pool today. I had my first swimming lesson. At first I was very afraid. I hated it when the water went up my nose and into my ears. I kept my eyes closed all ___ time.
Slowly, however, I became more confident. The teacher made sure _ would always touch the bottom of the pool with my feet and __ my head was above water. By the end of the lesson I could float on the water for __ least a minute.
I’m glad I’m learning to swim; it can be lots of fun. Soon I hope to be able to dive into the pool __ swim underwater.
