Most people want to be happy, but few know how to find happiness. Money and success alone do not bring lasting happiness. Aristotle, a Greek thinker, said, "Happiness depends on ourselves." In other words, we make our own happiness. Here are a few suggestions to help you be happier.

The first secret of happiness is to enjoy the simple things in life. Too often, we spend so much time thinking about the future ﹣ for example, getting into college or getting a good job ﹣ that we fail to enjoy the present. You should enjoy life's simple pleasure, such as reading a good book, listening to your favorite music, or spending time with close friends. People who have several friends often live happier and healthier lives.

Another secret to living a happy life is to be active. Many people go dancing or play sports. People can forget about their problems and only think about the activities.

Finally, many people find happiness in helping others. Studies show that people feel good when they spend their time helping others. If you want to feel happier, do good things for someone. You can help a friend with his or her studies, go shopping to buy food for an elderly person, or simply help out around the house by washing the dishes.

(1)Does the writer agree to "Happiness depends on ourselves"?

(2)What can make you happier, to think too much about the future or to enjoy life's simple pleasure?

(3)Why do many people go dancing or play sports?

(4)What's the example in helping others to find happiness?

(5)What's the passage about?

People in different countries speak different languages. But is there a language that can be understood by everyone in the world? Emojis might be the first truly universal(通用的) language.

Emojis are a kind of special language. Pictures are used to put meaning across. A group called the Unicode Consortium is in charge of choosing official(官方的)emojis It has added new emojis every year since 2014. These new emojis do not come out of nowhere. They come from what people think about, like and care about.

Emojis can be used to represent (代表) different groups of people. In 2015, emoji faces with different skin tones(肤色) were added. In 2016, different jobs were added, such as doctor, police officer and painter along with female versions of these jobs. This year, emojis of disabled people were added, including emojis of blind people and people in wheel chairs.

But there is also more to emojis. They can also refer to pop culture and new cultural trends.New emojis in 2019 have included several animals, such as sloths(树懒) and flamingos(火烈鸟). These animals are not very common, but are known to many people. For example, sloths have become popular thanks to the 2016 film Zootopia(《疯狂动物城》). Many fashion designers have included flamingos in their designs in recent years. This animal makes people feel like they' re on a tropical(热带) vacation.

However, you can hardly imagine that, about 16 years ago, this area was covered with rocks and weeds(杂草). 阅读下面的短文,并根据短文内容回答所提问题。(共5小题,计10分)

Mr. Guo is a teacher from Xi'an. He asked his students to hand in their homework through a QR code(二维码). "We spent an hour or two in class learning how to generate(使产生) the codes, and in the end everything gets easier." Said Guo, "When students finish the homework, they keep it on WeChat. Then, each student makes his own QR code and gives it to me. So I can check their work anywhere using my computer or telephone."

The QR codes can be sent to Mr. Guo by email, QQ and WeChat. When Guo scans(扫描) his students' QR codes, their homework appears on his phone. He finds that their homework becomes more creative, with many pictures, music and even videos.

Guo's students like the new way and think it is interesting. "We are living in the information age. Many students like to work with computers, which makes learning more fun." Said Tingting, a student of Guo's.

"The paper is not easy to keep, but the code is easy to keep and share." Guo said, "It is worth trying to use new technology in education. Education itself is a kind of creation. I don't want my students to fall behind the times."

However, some parents are worried. They are afraid that their children will spend too much time on computers and less time communicating with teachers. But in fact, it's unnecessary. Students still need to look up information in books and write it down when they do their homework. They only use the codes when they hand in their work, which doesn't take them too much time. Also for teachers, it allows them to check the students' work at any time. And it's also an easy way to share homework with other students.

(1)According to the passage, Guo's students can keep their homework on WeChat, can't they?

(2)How can the QR codes be sent to Mr. Guo?

 __

It was a sunny summer day and I walked back home after school. When I stood in front of the door, I was shocked to find that the key had disappeared from my pocket. It was a disaster for me, because I only had one key and my parents were gone for several days.

I walked around the community, hoping to find the lost key. But I couldn't find it. I called my mum and she told me to go to my aunt's home. My aunt lives in another building of our community. I was sad, but I had no choice. The next morning, when I was going to school, I saw something shining on the window of the security hut (保安亭). It was my key. "Unbelievable!" I was quite surprised as I held the key in my hands.

"Is that yours, kid?" the old guard asked.

"Yeah. I lost it yesterday. Who sent this?" I replied. The old man said, "I don't know, someone picked it up last night."

To pick up a key from the ground and take it to the security hut is not something special, but it meant so much to me. I cannot express my thanks to the person who found my key. But I can pass on his or her kindness by following his or her steps to help others.

61. How many keys did the writer have?

62. Were the writer's parents at home or away from home?

63. Whom did the writer stay with for the night?

64. Did the old guard know who picked up the key?

65. What lesson does the passage give us?
