In order to realize his dream, Bill Gates, richest man in the world, gave up studying in Harvard University, that is the most famous in the world. He set up a company and researching the computer software. As an old saying go, “Interest is the best teacher.” I quite agree with this idea. I began to be crazy about English when I was a little girl. I got extreme interested in foreign cultures or customs. To meet me curiosity, I read in English stories every day. It seemed to be the best “meal” of a day. As a result, I always did very well in English exam. Interest is the key of success.

My family are planning a visit of Hong Kong Disneyland this summer vacation. I’ve got
some information about the ticket price and now I’m writing for some detail information.
I wonder that children under 3 need to pay off a ticket and how is the difference between a
Peak Day Ticket and a Special Day Ticket. Is that possible for us to get a discount if we purchase
as a group? Can we book ticket through the Internet? In addition to, I’d like to know if we allowed
to cancel our ticket booking if we can not make the tour for our personal reasons.

Ladies and gentlemen,
Welcome to our English Corner. This Corner was set up three years before. Every Sunday morning, students from different schools gather around here. All of us know the old saying “Practice make perfect.” It tells us unless we want to realize our aim, we should practise, and one day we will make it. It’s easy to understand. Once I wanted to learn swimming. At first I found difficult to control my body. I just sank into the water. I feel very frightened. Then I watched others who were good at them and asked them the key to succeed. I went to the swimming pool every day, learned from them and practised. A day, when my friend pushed me into the swimming poo1, I sudden found that I could swim. How exciting I was! Now I can swim much more better than before.
