We middle school students have had many exams. We have both achieved success and suffered by failure. Different students take different attitudes towards failure.

In the summer holiday, we travelled to Qingdao and paid a visit my uncle there. It’s a tired and boring journey. But the moment I arrived, I fallen in love with the city. It’s so a beautiful city that I can hardly find any word to describe it. The streets are cleaned and the sky is blue. If you walk along the coast, you can feel the wind blow on your face. I prefer my English classes to be taught in English only. What we all know, a good learning environment is of greatly importance if we want to study English well. Classes teaching in English provide students for a better environment. When English is an only language in class, students will have more opportunity to practise listening and speaking. However, there were problems with this method. Sometimes we may find difficult to follow the teacher and some slow learners may even give up learn English. In spite of these difficulties, but I believe practice makes perfect. With enough practice, we can overcome the difficulties and benefit from English classes in the long run.

One day, Dad and I was taking a walk by the lake when a boy rode by with a very high speed. Suddenly, we heard the loud scream. On Friday, our teacher told us that there would an English corner in front of our teaching building. I set about soon after the last class in the afternoon.
To my joy, the English corner had just been on for a few minute. I joined them on their talk. What is known to all ,some parents would rather their children rent houses outside the school instead of living in a dorm. There are advantage for both. Living in a dorm must strengthen relationship or cooperation between classmates. One night, I was on my home for my Christmas holiday when my car broke down. It was complete dead, and I was a few miles away from my home in that cold, wet night. Not only does our parents give us life, but they give us endlessly love and support, and always share with our happiness and sorrow. My soccer coach retired in last week．I wanted to do anything special for him at his retirement party．My mum makes the better biscuits in the world，so I decide to ask her for help．Mum taught me some basic step of baking．I insisted on doing most of the baking myself. I thought the biscuits were really well．My only mistake was that I dropped some on the floor after I was packing them up．
At a party, my coach, with a biscuit in his mouth, asked surprisingly who made them and joked,“I might have to retire again next year just get some more of these biscuits.”
My favorite picture at the party is of my coach and me enjoy the biscuits with happy laughter!
