As the world enters the 21st century, the development in the science and technology will bring us much more hopes and chances we’ve never imagined before. People are hoping have  a peacefully and highly developed world. To catch up with the new development and to be success in the new century the young generation is required to have different kind of skills and abilities, such like the computer science and the English language. Otherwise one will be left behind. Young people would study even hard at school and prepare for themselves mentally and physically to meet the challenge of the new century.

Today we have a short trip to Nanshan Park. We set out by the school bus at 7:20 a.m. The weather was pleasant and all of us were exciting. After two hours ride , we arrived there at nine thirty. Ben and his wife were glad to receive an invitation. So after work they met and set off. And now they were on their way of the dinner party. It was dark, windy night and they did not know the road very well. They drove through Cookstone until they found that they thought was the road to Doffing, that their friends lived. But it soon became clearly that they were not on the road to Dorling at all. The road they were on was getting more narrower and narrower. I live in a small town in the south. This is a typically Chinese town. There are only two main
streets which across in the middle of the town. Around the town stand a high wall, that was built
long ago, and it is still possibly to walk along it. No motorcars allowed in the business streets,
which makes shopping very easier and safer. On warm days some small restaurants put table and
chairs outside the houses to let people to take a rest and have some tea or ice-cream. There were
no tall buildings but some beautiful parks.

I have made a new friends recently. His name is Jackson, and he is from the America. How did we get to know each other? You may think we are pen-friends, and you are wrong.
