Good morning , everyone,
It’s great honor for me to speak here. My name’s Li Xiaojun, born of a harmonious family. My father and mother are all high school teacher . Influenced by them, I read widely during my early age, but I’ve developed a great interest in arts and sports. I’m easy –going , get along well with my classmates.
It is this personality which helps me win over all my classmates’ friendships, and also help me overcome many difficulties both in academic and personal life. Being admitted in your University has always been a beautiful dream for me. I dream constantly that I, along with mine classmates, will study happy with the help of the respectable professors; I dream that I will swim freely in the sea, enjoying the waves of knowledge.

I start school when I was five. The classes were small and the teachers were friendly. At the eleven I went to other school. Things didn’t go so well as before. I hated to study subject such as biology and physics and I got terribly marks in tests. My parents tried to teach me what I didn’t understand, and it didn’t help. I got very worrying about my exams. Even though I spent a lot of time review my lessons, I failed all the exams and had to take them again a few months late. That was the worst year of my school life. But I never gave up. Now I am proud my career as a successful engineer.

Dear Ralph,
I am an university student. I once thought life at the university must be excellent, but now I changed my mind. I have three roommates, and I was the last one to  move into the dormitory. Last term, I got along peacefully and happy. But I find they are not willing to be with me now. They don't talk with me, and they've become cold toward me. Many time, I have wanted to talk with them about how I felt like, but I failed to find an opening. When leaving alone, I always recall this sadness. But I am an honest student. People like swimming in the summer because water makes them to feel cool. However, these years many people died while they were enjoyed themselves in water, and some of them were students. So some people are still not carefully in swimming. They often think they swim such well that nothing will happen on them in water. On hot summer days, if you will go swimming, remember that many good swimmer have died in water. They died because they were not careful, so don’t get into water when you are lonely. This morning, on my way to school, I was riding while I heard a girl’s call for help from the river nearby. I immediate got off my bike, took off my clothes and jump into the river. At last the girl was saved. After sending the girl back to home, I hurried to school.
