During the weekend, I travelled on a plane the first time in my life. I generally travel by train and bus, which is both very cheaper and safer. But that was a long journey, about hundreds of kilometers far away from our city. In the beginning, I didn’t feel very happy, and this feeling didn’t last long. The ride on the plane then is of great excitement. I was soon highly up in the air among the cloud. The views of mountains, fields and rivers were very amazed. I enjoyed my comfortable journey a lot. This experience has shown that travelling in air is actually the safest way of make journeys.

I am very excited to learn that you’re coming to Xi’an for travel. Both my parent miss you a lot. So is our friend, Ruby. April is best time of the year to visit Xi’an. I am grateful to my English teacher Susan, at whose help I couldn’t have won the first prize in English Talent Competition for high school student last week.
I used to be poor in speaking English. I was too shy to speak in class. Since she teaches us last term, she has been encouraging him to overcome fear and speak out in class. Last weekend, I spent busy but meaningfully days ! I helped my grandparents with their trip in Dalian. On Saturday morning, together with my grandparents, I searched the Internet for the train schedule, the weather in Dalian, or some hotel informations. In the afternoon, they went to the train station and managed to buy two tickets for my grandparents though there had a long queue. After dinner, I packed the things into the suitcase, which my grandparents would be need, such as clothes, glasses, an umbrella, and a map. The next morning, I went to station to see them off. After school, I was about to enter into my apartment when I saw a little dirty dog lie beside the dustbin. He looked extremely weak. Immediately the homeless dog filled me of sympathy. I am writing to ask that you are able to do me a favor. I want to have a pen friend, hopefully, a girl in her early twenties, and with interests similarly to mine. In my mind, he is someone interesting in traveling, swimming, and playing table tennis. However, it would be better for her to have a pet dog as I have been kept one at home for some time.
