Traveling has always been a good way to relax．But this is not true for Xiao Lin （not her real name）．

In November，Xiao Lin took a trip to Lijiang，a tourist city in Yunnan province，and had dinner at a restaurant．She had a fight with a group of local people because they made a joke about her while she was eating．Later，they beat her heavily and her face was injured badly，reported CCTV．

This made the public very angry．In fact，she is not the first person to be injured at famous scenic spots （景区） in China．Last month，the National Toztrism Administration （国家旅游局）

Chinese President Xi Jinping urged development of the country's forestry（林业）while attending a voluntary tree planting in Beijing．Xi，also general secretary of the Communist Party of China（CPC） Central Committee，visited an afforestation（植树）site in Beijing's Daxing District and planted six saplings（树苗）of different varieties at the site on April 5th，2016．

On April 2nd，2016，an east China highway pile﹣up has killed three people and injured 31 others．That day was the first day of a three﹣day national holiday marking the Tomb﹣Sweeping Day（清明节）．

Two people died in a local hospital where nine others are being treated．Another person died after treatment failed in a larger hospital in Wuxi where 22 remain hospitallized，Changzhou traffic police updated on its official microblog account at Weibo．com．

The accident happened at the Changzhou section of the highway linking Shanghai and Nanjing．It drew public attention as people began posting photos and videos on Chinese social media WeChat and Weibo．Images showed dozens of trucks，buses and cars crashed into each other．People were standing on the top of the vehicles（运载工具）．

A warm drink of milk before bed has long been the best choice for those wanting a good night′s sleep． But now a study has found it really does help people nod off﹣ if it is milked from a cow at night．

Researchers have discovered that" night milk" has more melatonin（褪黑激素），which has been proven to help people feel sleepy and less worried．

A new study finds that more than eighty percent of Internet users in the United States search for health information online．

Many of us wish we would have longer weekend， but for about 18，000 students in Colorado， that wish is coming true． A school district outside Denver has decided to shorten its week to four days﹣from Tuesday to Friday， and the first school year on this new timetable just started，CBS Denver reports． It began on Tuesday， August 14， because the day students get off is everyone's least favorite： Monday．

Possible Earth﹣Like Planet Next Door？

Scientists say they discovered an earth﹣like planet outside our solar system （太阳系）． It is a planet that could support life．

This planet is just 4.2light years away from us． It is so close that space scientists have considered it as a next door neighbor． They say it could be reached by an unmanned spaceship before the end of the century ﹣﹣ in time for people alive today to see it．

An international team of scientists found the planet moving around the star called "Proxima Centauri"． The result came out last month from the scientific magazine Nature．

Scientists have long thought that a planet with water is important for life． And it has to be neither too hot nor too cold． The newly﹣discovered planet is a little larger than earth Scientists have named it Proxima B． It moves around its sun， Proxima Centauri， once every 11days．

American scientists have been using instruments for years to look for earth﹣like planets． In 2013， scientists' best guess was that there are about one billion （1，000million） "earths" in space．

Alan Boss is the chairman of a group for outer space research． He said that Proxima B not only confirms （确认） the discovery of a planet， but also increases the number of other possible"earths" greatly．

New Zealand offers free school lunches to thousands of kids

WELINGTON， Feb． 20 （ Xinhua） ﹣"Thousands of children have begun receiving a free lunch on schooldays under the government's free and healthy school lunch program，" Prime Minister （首相）Jacinda Ardern said on Thursday．

"The program is for 7 ，000 students at 31 schools right now． The number will extendto 21 ，000 students in 120 schools by the start of 2021 ，"Ardern said while she was serving up lunch at a school in Hawke's Bay．
