Online Movie Rentals
It is generally accepted that the best way to learn a language is to totally involve yourself in its culture by living in the country where it is spoken.   71   Fortunately, many aspects of a country’s culture have made their way to our lives in the form of various media and entertainment outlets. Not only do they allow a peek at life, but they make excellent study material for learning the language.
What to increase your language skills and enjoy some entertainment at the same time? Tired of going down to the video rental store to rent movies?   72
Most companies require customers to operate on the following model:
●Select and sign up for a payment program online, which will determine how many movies you can rent and hold at any one time.
●  73  You can look up movies by title, actor or director. Then movies will be sent to you within 1~3 days, and shipping is covered by the company.
●Watch the movies, often with no late fees.
●  74
●Check these sites for specific, up – to – date details.
Once you receive the movies, how can you improve your language skills with them? Well, just sitting in front of the TV with a drink in one hand isn’t a bad way to relax, but you won’t learn much. While seeing a movie you should take notes of new expressions. When very small dinosaur bones were found in a Germany mine people thought they were from baby dinosaurs.   48  , scientist Martin Sander's work shows that they were probably fully grown and belong to the smallest giant dinosaur species ever found.
Growth marks on dinosaur bones are similar   49   growth rings on trees. The rings are far apart while the animal is young and growing quickly.  50  get closer as growth slows. "It is exactly these tight ring marks that we found in the fossil (化石) bones," says Sander. So the fossils must have been from adult animals.
51  was this German dinosaur so much smaller than other giant dinosaurs, which grew up to 45 metres long and weighed as much as a thousand humans?
150 million years ago, most of Germany was underwater. Scientists think that  52  water levels rose, there was less and less land and food available. The dinosaur was forced to adapt and evolved into  53  smaller animal needing  54  space and food.
Since 1998, scientists have dug up more than 1,000 dinosaur fossils in the mine. It is one of the few places in the world  55  the bones and footprints of dinosaurs have been found together.

It often appears that we have more to gain by speaking than by listening. One big advantage of speaking is that it gives you a chance to control others’ thoughts and actions. Whatever your goal is — to have a boss hire you, to   36  others to vote for the person of your  37  or to describe the  38   you want your hair cut ... the key to success seems to be the  39  to speak well.
Another  40  advantage of speaking is the chance it provides to  41   the admiration, respect, or liking of others. Tell jokes, and everyone will think you’re really a  42   man. Tell them all you know, and they’ll be  43  by your wisdom. But keep quiet, and it seems as if you are a  44  person.
Finally, talking gives you the  45  to release (释放) energy in a way that listening can’t. When you’re   46  , the chance to talk about your problems can often help you feel better. In the same way, you can often   47   your anger by letting it out orally. It is also helpful to   48   your excitement with others by talking about it,  49   keeping it inside often leaves you feeling as if you might burst.
While it is true that talking does have many advantages, it’s important to  50   that listening can do good to listeners, too. As you’ll soon read, being a good listener is one good way to  51  others with their problems; and what better way is there to have others   52  you? As for controlling others, it may be true that it’s hard to be persuasive while you’re listening, but your  53  to hear others out will often make them open to your ideas   54  . Listening is often reciprocal (互惠的). “You get what you  55  .”
