The Story about Growth is my favorite American TV play because it is very interested. The play tells humorous stories that happen in Mr Green’s family. With such stories it make people think about life, but therefore attracts the audience. It is also a window from that we can learn about American society. And there are many meaningful things that worth thinking of, such as the relationship between parents and children in a lot of American family. It is quite different from that in China. The play is very popular. We’d better not to miss the chance to enjoy it.

All of us know the old saying “Practice make perfect.” It tells us unless we want to realize our aim, we should practise, and one day we will make it. It’s easy to understand. Once I wanted to learn swimming. At first I found difficult to control my body. I just sank into the water. I feel very frightened. Then I watched others who were good at them and asked them the key to succeed. I went to the swimming pool every day, learned from them and practised. One day Rosa wrote to her friend, who was a doctor, invite him to have dinner with her families. A few days later the doctor wrote back to her but she couldn’t read his writing because the letters were written careless. Then she asked her husband for the help, but he couldn’t read it, too. Then her husband got an idea. He told her that a chemist might be able read the doctor’s letter. So the woman went to chemist’s. The chemist in the shop studied the letter for a long time but he gave her a large bottle of medicine. He told the woman she should eat twelve pills a day. Finally Rosa still had no idea whether her friend will come or not.

mountain in our town. The weather was fine. It was about noon before we arrived at
the foot of it. The three of them were very excited. As we climbed the mountain, we
fed monkey, visited temples and took pictures since the scenery was so beautiful.
Time pass quickly. It soon got dark. We had supper at a restaurant. The food was
expensive and the service was good. Then we spent on the night in a hotel at the top
of the mountain. I was tired but what wonderful the trip was!
