The first time I went to swim was from about 5 years ago. Many friends could swim well and they often laugh at me. So I decided to swim as well as we did. One summer afternoon, the weather was amazed, so I thought it was good for swimming. Thus, I came to the pool but found many boys were already there. I was afraid and did not know what to do. Just as I was wondering, I felt somebody give me a push and I was dropped. Frightened in the water, I wouldn’t help crying. “Help, help! ” I heard some laughter from opposite side. I tried to keep myself balance, only to find the water was just a little above my knee.

After news spread which the eight-time Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps used marijuana, a heating discussion took place in our class. Opinions divided on the issue.
Some classmates argued Phelps deserved to be forgiven as he has made a sincere apology to the public and had willing accepted his punishment. What’s more, they argued, we shouldn’t expect him to be perfect just because he is a public figure -after all, he is still a young man during his early twenties. We all make mistake and Phelps is no exception.
However, others disagreed because like a role model, Phelps’s behavior had a bad influence on thousands of our young fans.
As far as I am concerned, his success story can inspire us to be succeed; on the other hand, his scandal is also a lesson for us.

Generally, we prefer to do things the way we considered to be the best．However, it is important to listen to those who love us and want to give us an advice when we have serious problems in our lives．Parents have gained some life experiences and they know what to act in different situations．That's why we should ask them for help first when they have problems．Therefore, there are moments when we avoid them and don't want to follow them．With time passed, my brother as well as I have realized that our parents are right．Please turn for your parents when in trouble, for they worth trusting and ready to offer help all the time．

In my village a lot of children were leaving school for various reason. Some families are too poor to send their children to school, and they have to earn money to support their families. Many parents do not think it useless to send their children to school. They would rather let their children to stay at home .I feel worried this. I remember how I used to playing with my friends during my childhood. We always had a great fun. We played many games which we had to use our imagination. By playing those game, we learned how to compete, organize groups, and creative. Now, the situation is differently. Children are still playing, but instead playing outdoors, they are playing indoors with high-tech toys. This means we are staying inside the house all the times, and usually in front of a TV. So they are becoming more lonely, and making less friends.

The Story about Growth is my favorite American TV play because it is very interested. The play tells humorous stories that happen in Mr Green’s family. With such stories it make people think about life, but therefore attracts the audience. It is also a window from that we can learn about American society. And there are many meaningful things that worth thinking of, such as the relationship between parents and children in a lot of American family. It is quite different from that in China. The play is very popular. We’d better not to miss the chance to enjoy it.
