My Unexpected Teacher
One cold, rainy evening last October, I was going to interview an old lady in the hospital to gather information for my medical thesis(论文）.
The old lady was lying on bed 4B. I sat down on a chair next to her bed, and in a low voice I introduced myself and asked how she was doing. She         _replied that she was getting better. When I told her that I wanted to gather some information from her, she agreed.

I knew we needed to find that shoe, for our mother couldn’t afford new shoes. I had to go back to find it, so I told my sister to wait right   .

It is well known that everyone has his own dream as well as his own future. But do you know           future really is? I have to say that future is time. That is to say we must save every      now. If we want to have a bright future, we should know      important time is and use it well.

My mother says she probably wouldn’t love butterflies（蝴蝶）today if it weren’t for Mr. Patti.
When my mother Ada was a kid, she loved playing baseball and she wanted to       for the New York Yankees.
