I’m the only daughter of my parents．So they worried about everything I do．For
example, when I ride my bike, my parents won’t let me to ride by myself．They are
afraid I might fall off my bike and hurt me．They are taking great trouble to
support a bike, with my mother even carries a first-aid box. I’m not free to ride and I
often say angry, “Why not let me ride alone? Now, most family have one child.Parents
want to do everything for their children．This does harm to them．Too many love from
parents may prevent children from independent．In my opinion, parents should let their
children do that they should do alone．

This summer I will go to study at the London University,but I don’t know how to adapt myself for the new life.
I hear that many freshmen are at loss what to do when they are in a foreign country .Feel lonely and homesick ,they find it much harder to get use to the new culture ,diet and climate.
Most of them can’t take well care of themselves in their everyday life .
However it is difficult to find a satisfied host. It ’,s  more difficult to fully understand what the teachers teach in class though they speak English all the time.

In recent years, study abroad has been popular. Many students are trying his best to go abroad. There are many advantages in attending schools in abroad. First, students who study abroad can make friend with people of different cultures. Second, they can learn many more advanced knowledge of science or technology from foreign countries. Third, they can learn foreign languages more efficiently. But mostly of the students are young to live by themselves without any living experience. Ladies and gentlemen,
Welcome to our English Corner. This Corner was set up three years before. Every Sunday morning, students from different schools gather around here. Many college students or some foreigners often join us. We practise spoken English by talk about everything we are intrersted. We also exchange our experience in English study. I will share with you a true story happened a couple of days ago. One of my classmate bought a bag of snacks from a food store. A few roommates were then invited to enjoy snacks. Unluckily, all of them got poisoned and had stomachache with our faces pale. They are quickly sent to a nearby hospital. Doctors examined them but gave them some medicine. They were out of danger soon before taking the medicine. This accident should make us to realize the seriousness of the food safety problem. I strong suggest that the whole society pays more attention for food safety.
