It was 7:15 in the morning of February 8, 2007． I was walking along Park Road towards the east while an old man came out of the park on the other sides of the   street． Then I saw a yellow car drive up Third Street and made a right turn into Park Road． The next moment the car hit the man while she was crossing the road． He fell with a cry． The car didn’t stop and drive off at full speed heading west． I noticed the driver was young woman wore a pair of glasses and the plate number was AC864． After two minutes later, I stopped a passed car and took the old man to the nearest hospital．                        

My secret of staying young is simple: keeping your mind awake and you will stay young all over. Take an interest in world around you, and learn at least one old thing every day. Don’t think that you are ever very old to go back to school. I know a man who entered medical college in 70. He got his degree with honors and became a famous doctor. Other man went to law school at 71 and is now a active lawyer. You may say that staying young is easy only for those live in the future. In fact, you can do it whether you care enough to try to keep your mind awake and active, and which is the only way to be always young.

I receive your E-mail just now. Don’t worry about me. I’m getting on well with my research work in the lab. But to my greatly surprise you say you will give up learn English. The reason is because you have not done well in it recently and you have lost interests. I’m afraid I couldn’t agree with you . Dear Lily,
I got your letter and pleased to hear about your job interview at a grocery store. I am angry about the act of dishonesty in the exams. I’m not saying that I’m a good student and that I’ve never cheated. I once write the answer on my hand for a history test but, unluckily, caught by my teacher. Because she     was one of my most favorites, there were no words to describe how sorry I felt at once. I thought cheat would help me keep my straight A’s. Little I know that I was hurting not only herself but also my teachers. I passed all the other course that I took at my university, but I could never pass botany. This was why all botany students had to spend several hours a week in a lab look through a microscope at plant cells, and I could never see through a microscope. This was used to make my professor angry. “I can’t see everything, ” I said. Then he began patient enough to explain how to see through it, but I still couldn’t make it. At last we tried it with every adjustment of the microscope known to men. With my pleasure, I saw something and drew it quickly on the paper. “What’s that?” my professor asked. “That’s what I saw.” I answered. “No, you don’t!” he shouted, and he bent over and looking into the microscope. “That’s your eyes! You’ve fixed the lens so that it reflects! You’ve drawn your eyes!”

I'd like to tell you why I learn English. I often read English aloud and try learn something important by hearts, which helps me remember it easily and  form into the good habit of thinking in English．I listen to a lot and talk with others in English．In this way, I was improved both my hearing and my spoken English．I keep a diary in English every day but my spoken English is becoming better and better．I also try my best to master the necessary grammar knowledge. I will share with you a true story happened a couple of days ago. One of my classmate bought a bag of snacks from a food store. A few roommates were then invited to enjoy snacks.
