If you are learning English, it is not enough only to keep in mind the rules of grammar. Try to read stories in English and speaking English wherever you can. When you have learned how use the language, you are sure not to fail in the test. A few day before the exam, you should go to bed early. Don’t stay up late at night study. After you understand the exact meaning of each question, we should not pick up your pen to write. When you have finished your paper, to be sure to read over your answers, correct the mistakes you could see and make sure that you haven’t missed anything.

Today we were organized for a short trip to the West Hill. We set out by the school bus at 7:30 a.m. The weather was pleasure and every one of us was excited. After   two hour’s ride, we arrived there at nine thirty. We began our programs the moment as we got off from the bus. We played games on the hillside and swimming in the river. After that we had our picnic lunch. In the afternoon we walked along the river, that winds around the hills.  We took a lot of photo and enjoyed ourselves very much. We often think insects to be harmless. This is partly true. Many an insect are harmful. Flies carry diseases. Others insects carry diseases, too. Farmers are at war with insects most the time. One day I was dining with my friend Zhou in McDonald when two young girls came in hand in hand. While enjoyed a hamburger, I found Zhou looking around at something strangely.
I raised my eyes to see what was happening. The two girls are making gestures skillfully. Obviously they were deaf-mutes. I had learned some sign languages ago, so I showed various gestures with Zhou following me in low spirits. We played and laughed cheerfully as if there had no one else present. Suddenly we saw both the two girls glaring at us. Before we could explain to them, they had walked out angrily, left the food unfinished. They thought we were making joke of them. How I regretted!

When I was 5, my father bought me the piano with all the money he had saved. Every day I
practiced playing it though my father demanded. But before long, I transferred my interest in the

Here is my idea about how a friend is like. Firstly,                 
a friend is someone you can share your secrets. If you                
tell him a secret, never will he talks about it with anybody           
else. Besides, a friend is always good listener when you               
need one. After hear your sad stories, he will say some                
words that is nice and warm. Still, your happiness makes             
him happily too. What’s more, a good friend is willing to

Our English club was set up two months ago．Now，we have members of 25．We met once a week on Saturday afternoon．So far，we have been conducted a variety of activities on English learning，such as watching English films，including a Christmas party and get together with the foreign students．Last week we held an English story－telling competition．We required that the entries would be original and interesting and be presented in English within five minutes．Every member took an actively part in it．Two foreign English teachers were invited to act as judge．At last，LiBing won the first place．Many members said that the activity benefited them many ways．
