One day in the restaurant where I worked, I am serving a table of four and each person
had ordered the different kind of fish. Three plate were already on the table when the man
closest to me pointing to one plate and asked me the name of the fish on it. After I could
answer him, he continued to ask me the name of the fish on another one plate. I was about to
answer him while I noticed that the last plate on my tray(托盘) began to fall. They fell noisily
to the floor seconds late, spreading its contents on the carpet. Everyone stared me and I stood
there with a red face.

My friend Li Hua come to visit me on May Day. During the following days I showed he
around the city of Hangzhou. We went to the Museum in the morning of May 2, and we
learned many about the history of Zhejiang. In the afternoon, we made a tour to West Lake. It
was really great funny! In the evening I took Li Hua to the night zoo there. It was too
interesting to see animal at night. The next day we went to the bookshop to buy books.
Though we were very tiring in those two days, but we enjoyed ourselves very much.

Welcome to our English Corner. It set up about four years before. Since then on many high school students have joined in it. Last Sunday I am about to leave the Green Lake Park when I met a foreign visitor whose seemed to be lost. I tried to help him but I found we had difficulty in understand each other because of my poor English. Just at that moment, tall young lady came to our help. He spoke very good English. With her help, the foreign visitor finally found the way but I learned some English as well. Before he left, the foreigner thanked to us for our kindness. I was very exciting that day. This experience have made me realize that English is real useful and worth learning. I will work hard at it from now on.

Here is my idea about how a friend is like. Firstly,                 
a friend is someone you can share your secrets. If you                
tell him a secret, never will he talks about it with anybody           
else. Besides, a friend is always good listener when you               
need one. After hear your sad stories, he will say some                
words that is nice and warm. Still, your happiness makes             
him happily too. What’s more, a good friend is willing to              
offer the help to which you need, or can at least give you             
some advices. In a word, friends are those you like and

I will share with you a true story happened a couple of days ago. One of my classmate bought a bag of snacks from a food store. A few roommates were then invited to enjoy snacks. Unluckily, all of them got poisoned and had stomachache with our faces pale. They are quickly sent to a nearby hospital. Doctors examined them but gave them some medicine. They were out of danger soon before taking the medicine. This accident should make us to realize the seriousness of the food safety problem. I strong suggest that the whole society pays more attention for food safety.
