In China, many people are leaving the countryside to find jobs in the cities, because the countryside is much poorer than the city, and often there isn’t much work there. Services such as hospital and transport (交通) are usually much better in the city than in the countryside. They hope that their lives will improve when they move to the city.
But in the big cities of Europe like London or Pads, people are moving out of the city. These rich families want to live a quieter life. They are tired of the noise and the dirt (尘土) of the city, and they are tired of the crowded streets, crowded trains and buses. They don’t want to live in the cities any more. They want a house with a garden in the countryside, and breathe the fresh air there.
So they move out of the cities. Some don’t go very far, just a little way out of the city, to the towns near the cities, other people move to the real countryside with sheep, cows and green fields. There, they start new lives and try to make new friends.
Not all those who move from the city to the countryside are happy. After two or three years, many people who have done this feel that it was a big mistake. They don’t make so much money and there isn’t much work to do. People in the countryside are very different and aren’t always very friendly.
As a result, quite a lot of people who have moved to the countryside move back to the city. "It’s wonderful to see crowds in the streets and cinema lights," they say.
Which is NOT the reason for people moving to the cities in China?

A.The countryside is much poorer than me city.
B.People in the countryside have nothing to eat.
C.People in the countryside don’t have much work to do there.
D.Services in cities are usually much better than those in the countryside.

A.Because they will find good jobs.
B.Because they are tired of living in the city.
C.Because they can make more money there.

Today we’ll talk about the history of blue jeans. For many people, blue jeans stand for (代表) American culture.
The history of blue jeans usually began with a man named Levi Strauss. He did not invent jeans. But he is the first person to produce and sell them in large numbers. Levi Strauss was born in Germany. In 1847, he and his family moved to the United States. He opened a small store and sold jeans. These pants were especially useful for miners (矿工) in California. They needed strong clothing. Levi Strauss worked with Jacob Davis, who had invented a step for making rivets (铆钉) for jeans. They helped make the blue jeans stronger.
In 1873, Strauss and Davis received a patent (专利) to own this invention. Nineteenth century workers would probably be surprised to know that their pants would one day become fashions. Today, jeans are worn by people of all ages. Jeans come in many colors other than blue and in many styles and prices. Fashion designers even create very costly jeans.
Writer James published a book called Jeans: A Cultural History of an American Icon (偶像). In the book, he says jeans serve as a sign for two American values, creativity and rebellion (叛逆).

There is an old American saying, "Loose lips sink ships. "This means that if you speak too much about something, especially to people who you don't know so well,it'll cause all kinds of trouble.Maybe now you're in this situation.Forget all these unhappy things.

Perhaps most importantly, think about your own behaviour. When filled with anger, you would say whatever comes to your mind. You might hurt others.Take a deep breath, calm down, and always remember:think first, speak later.

In my view(观点),you should do what your parents ask. They're much older than you and you should respect them. It's their house you live in and their money you spend!

Here's what you need to do.First, apologise to your teammate.Have a chat with him,and tell him directly and honestly that you were talking without thinking. Then tell your friend you're angry with him for repeating what you said and making the situation worse, but you hope your friendship will move on.
