Last summer I volunteer in the Summer Camp for high school students. I have told that one more volunteer will be needed in this year and I think you are suitable for the job. Why not joining us? The camp is at a bottom of a mountain close to a beautiful river. It is such an amazing place, where we can hear bird singing happily .We can also cook for ourselves ,that is very exciting . It can be seen, more and more people own mobile phones in China now. At the end of 2002, there were 20 millions mobile phone users. By 2005 a number reached up to 30 million. People have found mobile phones convenience. They can get in touch to each other whenever and wherever they like. There’re different functions to meeting different needs, such as surf the Internet. However, it may bring us some trouble. For an example, the radiation from the phone may do harm our health. In spite of this, the number of people having mobile phones are increasing steadily.

It isn’t hard to grow up into a responsible members of society.
I can well remember an incident that happens on a rainy Sunday afternoon. I was on my way to the bookstore and was waiting the green light at a crossing when a girl of about ten was knocked on by a passing car, it drove off quickly. A man immediately rushed to a girl to give her first aid and I joined in without hesitation. Luckily she was not badly injured but we sent her to the nearest hospital. Comparing with the escaped driver, I am proud of what I did.
As a member of society, I am aware of that being responsible is that it takes to make a better society.

But in modern society, especial among one-child families, mothers usually give too much love to her only daughter or son. As you know it, our class will have a talk show on environment protection with Class One on May 4th. As is well-known that birds are our friends. But the large number of birds have been killed for food. The other day I was walking in the woods while a shot was heard. In order to realize his dream, Bill Gates, richest man in the world, gave up studying in Harvard University, that is the most famous in the world. He set up a company and researching the computer software. An old saying go, “Interest is the best teacher.” I quite agree with this idea. I began to be crazy about English when I was a little girl. I got extreme interested in foreign cultures or customs. To meet me curiosity, I read in English stories every day. It seemed to be the best “meal” of a day. As a result, I always did very well in English exam. Interest is the key of success.

Recently our class have had a heat discussion on whether the score of English should be reduced by 100. Opinions concerned this hot topic vary from person to person.
Some students in favor of it. They thought reducing the score may be a good chance for our students, we are supposed to attach much important to Chinese. It is no need for every student to learn English so hard.
However, others disagree with it. They think it’s English that play an important role in international communication. In their opinion, reduce the English score isn’t a wise choice.
Personally, I agree with the latter.
